Professional Biography

Prof. Mohamed Elalem earned his B.Sc. (1990) and M.Sc. (2006) degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Tripoli, Libya, and his Ph.D. (2013) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University (Ryerson University), Canada. He served as an academic instructor at Elmergib University from 1993 to 2008 and has been a faculty member there since 2013. His research expertise spans telecommunications, optimization techniques, cognitive radio networks, information theory and coding, and advanced digital communication schemes.
